Schedule of Events

Tours will depart from the Truhlsen Campus Events Center foyer. These tours involve varied amounts of walking and limited opportunities to sit down, which may be difficult for those who have limited mobility. Each tour will take the full 90 minutes.

Sit down with 3-4 classmates and share memories from your time in nursing school for the In Your Own Words exhibit in the College of Nursing History Museum.  

Please feel free to browse the Nursing History Museum at your leisure, or you may catch up with classmates in the College of Nursing Commons, 2nd level, room 2027.

Medical students will answer questions and share about their educational experience at UNMC while providing a tour of the College of Medicine building. 

Pharmacy students will answer questions and share about their educational experience at UNMC while providing a tour of the new College of Pharmacy building, which opened in 2016. 

This session will include a state-of-the-college update and recognize the 2024 award recipients and the class of 1974 on their 50th reunion. Following this, the Dean will host a reception, where light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided.

Parking will be available in the lot South of the Thompson Alumni Center – no parking pass is needed. Overflow parking is available at First Christian Church north of Dodge St.

At 9 pm, the room will be opened for other patrons of Scriptown to enter; however, you are welcome to stay as long as you’d like.
